2016 Love-a-Thon: The End

In case you didn't already know, the Love-a-Thon is an annual February event that encourages the bookish online community to spread some positive vibes, strengthen friendships, form new relationships and have fun along the way. This year, I co-hosted with my friends Cee of The Novel HermitHazel of Stay Bookish Mel of The Daily Prophecy! It's been a whirlwind couple of days, and it's been so, so, so much fun.

It always is bittersweet whenever the Love-a-Thon comes to an end. (Cue me getting a bit emotional!) It's been such a satisfying, wonderful experience getting to know you guys better, chatting with everyone, sharing fun posts and making new friends! I've really loved seeing the enthusiasm for the event, the conversations springing up all around me, and I'm overwhelmed with lots of love and gratitude for each and every person involved.

I'm going to quote what I said last year, because I think it's important to remember this:

Let me leave you with one important thought: Love should be shared all year round. Yes, this Love-a-Thon is time we set aside specifically to celebrate the people we love in this crazy awesome blogging community, and that's always a wonderful thing. But it's important to remember to be kind, to be respectful and to be expressive of our love + gratitude + joy all the time. We should strive to keep the positive attitude the Love-a-Thon inspires going all year round!

I'd like to thank the time to shout out to my amazing co-hosts: Cee, Hazel and Mel. It was seriously so fun to creatively collaborate with you ladies! Thanks to your stellar input and generous contributions of time and effort, the Love-a-Thon is extremely spectacular this year. I'm so happy we were able to work together, and I look forward to the next one, and making it bigger and better!

Also, I'd like to give a special shout-out to our ambassadors for BookTube and Bookstagram. This was a totally new idea we had this year, and I'm so thrilled we had such great people helping us out. Thank you to Alexandra, Aly, Mara, Anabel, Kristin, Tiffany for being so wonderful, and generous, and enthusiastic!

I'd also like to shout-out to these individuals for donating so generously so that we could make these giveaways a possibility. Your generosity never fails to astound me, and I'm so excited for our giveaway winners to receive their awesome prizes! Here's a full list of giveaway sponsors:
