March 2014

This is going to be an echoing theme this year, I can already tell, but... can you guys believe it's APRIL? If I thought February passed by in a blur, March seriously just passed in a blink. I'm sure most of my forgetfulness about what went on this month is due to the undecided weather we're having, so here's to hoping April brings warmer days!

I failed a little at sharing more personal posts, though I managed to put up too. Hopefully, I transition into that better this April. Also, in case you've missed it, my sister Mel is back on the blog doing some reviews (which will add variety since she reads a lot of NA and paranormal YA). I also managed to do a bunch of Friends with ARCs posts with Rachel!

April is officially the month of pre-orders coming in, and many, many, many book events happening. There's a full list of the ones I know of (and will possibly attend) below, so don't be shy to hit me up on Twitter or say hello if you see me! I promise I don't bite :)

  1. Happy April (a day late)! Sounds like you had a good March and an exciting April coming up. Enjoy the Sara Benincasa, Jennifer E. Smith, and Jenny Han events. I've read all three of their new books (well, I'm almost done with The Geography of You and Me) and I really liked all of them.

And Beautiful Ruins is a great book, very different and interesting, IMO.

  2. James comment: THRILLERRRR. And also: I didn't realize she had an accent. (I still don't hear it!)

YAY! I loved that you did this and I'm impressed you came up with three words on the spot for each of the books. Really impressed! I would still be staring at my screen.

Beautiful Ruins! I have a copy of that too... and I haven't read it yet because I'm terrible. But I'm glad we can all be terrible together! Yippee!
