I'm really excited to put a new spin on {Bookish} Style Files! Even though I've never had any interest in creating an actual style blog chronicling my outfits, I do love the challenge of putting together a look that fits my personal aesthetic perfectly. So, I've decided to start pairing my outfits with book covers as a variation of this feature!
The Outfit:
A dress and cardigan combination is my go-to for summer days! It works well for just about any occasion, including Christmas dinners (I wore this dress last year) or a jaunt to Martha's Vineyard (where this photo was taken). The red and white striped dress is from H&M, the cardigan is from Old Navy and the sunglasses are from PacSun.
The Books:
1. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes | It's been some time since I read this novel, though I plan on remedying that by rereading it before I read the sequel After You. I love the way Jojo Moyes tells a story, how she manages to really create these characters that feel like friends (or even familY) and how her stories always manage to inspire really intense emotional responses.
2. All the Truth That's In Me by Julie Berry | This novel is on my Autumn 2015 TBR, and I've already talked a little bit about why I want to read it in that post! Really, it all boils down to the fact that (1) Hannah recommended it, (2) the story sounds incredibly different from anything I've read recently and (3) I liked Berry's MG novel.
3. The Weight of Feathers by Anna-Marie McLemore | This book is, by far, one of the loveliest stories I've read all year. It's whimsical and relatable, all at once, and McLemore succeeds in painting the most vivid imagery and imaginative scenarios with her words. I really enjoyed it, and would highly recommend it to all. (P.S. I'm on the official blog tour, and my post is up on Monday!)
That is SUCH a cute dress. I can't even. Generally, horizontal stripes don't do much for me, but I am in envy nonetheless because it looks super lovely on you.

Wonderful idea! I love Shakespeare and everything related to that. Don’t know how he would react, but I like it. In fact, I have written several letters to my favourite author… but it was like a hell, to be honest. That feeling when you have something in your mind, but can’t express it with words. After several attempts, I dropped that business. Now I would order using services like essay help and really don’t sure that I would write such a letter again
