TGIF (19): Love Stories

TGIF at GReads is a feature by the fabulous Ginger, who asks us a fun question to answer every week. It's always a joy to be a part of this, and I think everyone certainly should try it out!

What are some of your favorite fictional love stories?

This is yet another great question from Ginger, and I'm really excited to answer this one! I'm a sucker for romance, so it figures that I would be attracted to stories that bring it. This makes it hard to narrow down my favorite love stories, so I'm just going to divide them into two categories: young adult and historical romance.

YOUNG ADULT

Etienne & Anna (Anna and the French Kiss)
Cricket & Lola (Lola and the Boy Next Door)
Ky & Cassia (Matched)
Vincent & Kate (Die for Me)
Sam & Grace (Shiver/Linger/Forever)

HISTORICAL ROMANCE

Sebastian & Evie (Devil in Winter)
Brodick & Gillian (Ransom)
Colin & Penelope (Romancing Mr. Bridgerton)
Caine & Jade (Guardian Angel)
Gabriel & Callie (Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake)

I'm also a huge fan of the romance in Pride and Prejudice, which definitely deserves a shout-out!

  8. I should definitely have added Die For Me!! And apparently I need to read up on some historical romance authors, I'm still a newbie when it comes to Julie Garwood, Lisa Kleypas and Julia Quinn (but The Duke and I is on its way to me, so this will be remedied soon :) ). Romance brightens up any book :)
