Flights of Fantasy • December 2015 (+ Giveaway)

December 2015 is drawing to a close this week. While I'm certainly looking forward to the new year and the adventures that await me, I'm also a bit sad to say goodbye to a year that was so incredible in so many ways. One of the things I'm most proud of this year is co-hosting this reading challenge with Rachel of Hello Chelly and having 199 of you signed up to join us in reading more fantasy! We never in our wildest dreams expected to be joined by so many fantasy lovers, but we're so, so happy by how things turned out. We're so inspired to continue to make the Flights of Fantasy Reading Challenge even better next year, and I sincerely hope you'll be joining Rachel & I again. (Sign-ups are open!)

In December, I actually only read one fantasy - Heart's Blood by Juliet Marillier - but it was a good one! It started off real slow (and I was really nervous I was going to be the black sheep), but then it suddenly clicked for me and turned into something amazing. In total, I managed to read 46 fantasy novels this year, which is well past my original goal of 30 books.

Now, in order to finish off this year, Rachel & I are sharing our top five fantasies that we read in 2015! It was really, really, really hard to narrow this list down, as I've read my fair share of incredible fantasy novels.
