My Trip to the Philippines

Last month, I went on a vacation for two weeks to the Philippines - and it was awesome. I reveled in the warmer weather, since the sun was shining almost every single day I was home (it only rained for one day, and even then, just for a brief moment). I also enjoyed being surrounded by my loved ones - Macky, my family and some of my best friends. I ate a ton of good food, got a chance to sleep in for a couple of days and basically just had the time of my life.

While I was very relaxed during my two weeks away, I was also extremely productive. I dove straight into meetings with the various people who were helping me with my wedding in September - the priest, the venue coordinator, the dessert chef, the photographer/videographer and the dressmaker. I also met up with people who I invited to be a part of my entourage (which was mostly my relatives, so that was fun!). All in all, I can say that I got at least 30% of the wedding stuff down - and there's still a whopping 70% ahead of me.

Now that I'm back, I do miss it (especially because this cold weather makes me feel miserable and my allergies are acting it), so I thought I'd share a few photos from my trip this time around with you all! I've missed doing my personal posts on the blog, so consider this as me starting that up again.

My cousin Carmela and I are color-coordinated.
(P.S. She's also a big reader, which I love!)
My sister Melissa & I went to a really cute dessert place!
[You may remember her from this post, this post & this post.]
I love my family to pieces! This is all five of us.
My sister Mel, my cousin Mela & my other sister Rachel, a.k.a. my faves!
This is my grandmother (mom's side).
This is my grandmother (dad's side).
My family is... weird.
This is my other family (a.k.a. Macky's family).
Of course, here's a photo of Macky & I.
I also got to meet up with my BFFs Mutya & Bianca.
These are Mela's dogs: Charley (who wouldn't stop moving!) and Crammy.
Hope you enjoyed my little recap of my visit to my homeland! I missed it so, and I now wish (after seeing these photos) that I could go back... and soon. Oh, and while I was there, I did take a quick video of my shelves at home, in case any of you wanted to see - I promise that's coming up soon!
