A Sunday Retrospective (1)

A Sunday Retrospective is inspired by In My Mailbox at The Story Siren and TGIF at GReads!, where I share the books that I've acquired during the week, last week's posts and interesting links.

It's August, my birthday month, and I thought I would start doing A Sunday Retrospective in order to show you guys what books I've received, sum up my posts for the week, and share some interesting bookish links from around the blogosphere.

The books I'm showcasing here are all books that I've received in the mail or from friends that I don't recall showcasing on the blog, as of yet. Some of them I received a while back, but I still wanted to say thank you to everyone who sent them to me!

  1. Holy books. You kind of seriously scored on the IMM front this week, Alexa! I LOVE Leah Clifford's series, so I suggest you get on that ASAP. It's dark, but awesome :) have a wonderful week and I kind of love all the interestingness in this post!

  2. So many good books in this post! I LOVE The Sky is Everywhere and really enjoyed The Lonely Hearts Club, very sweet reads!

  3. Oh honey, look at all those pretty books! Have you read Shadow and Bone yet?? Otherwise you need to get on that ASAP!! It's SO, SO good! It reminded me of why I love fantasy so much. Also, I can't wait to hear what you think of Venom, it sounds like it could be an amazing read!

  4. A nice haul this week!
    Happy Birthdayyyyyyy! <3

  5. Awesome books!! Enchanted looks super good ... I love the cover! I just bought On the Island this week ...

I really liked Wintergirls -- and I bought The Sky is Everywhere a few weeks ago!

I still haven't read Cinder OR the Jenny Han books ... they all look sooo good!

    Enjoy your reading!

  6. You've got so many beautiful books, Alexa! I was so excited for Enchanted (fairytales!) but haven't finish it yet, haha. Also woo to The Sky Is Everywhere and Shadow and Bone. Happy reading. :)

  7. I have only added 3 of these to my reader. ;) Only! And a Christmas book!? Okay!!!

  8. So many pretty and awesome looking books! Venom is very photogenic ;)
Hope you enjoy all of them and I'm looking forward to hearing what you think about them, as well!

  9. AHHH you have Decked With Holly! I've been dying to read that since I heard of it (from Tara's WoW a few months back, actually haha)! Any way I can convince you to let me borrow it when you're done? I will pay for shipping, of course! (and if not, no worries of course - I'll stalk my library until they get it in haha)

Thanks for leaving a comment! I love seeing what you have to say, and will try to reply (here or on Twitter) as soon as I can :)
