July 2017 (+ July Flights of Fantasy Linky)

Summer is halfway through (*sobs*) now, and I honestly can't believe it. I feel like I've managed to do a lot but also not a lot at all, though I'm totally digging the full-on summer vacation vibe that I've been experiencing all month with every weekend. How's your summer going so far?

WHAT I DID
July started off with a bang! Had a lovely, lazy long Fourth of July weekend that culminated in a celebratory dinner at our apartment with our friends-who-are-practically family, and followed that up with a long weekend away in Rhode Island with Rachel. The week after we returned, I sadly got pretty sick (which was not fun) and I ended up needing to take more time than I'd like to recuperate. When I got better, I had a root canal (also not fun). But the month ended on a high note when our friends (and their adorable one-year-old) arrived for a visit!

WHAT I READ
Of the 13 novels I read in July, these were my favorites:

WHAT I POSTED

I read a total of 6 fantasy books this month. The books I read were: The Last Magician, Daughter of the Burning City, The Emperor's Ostrich, The Library of Fates, Wicked Like a Wildfire and The Hidden Oracle. What fantasy reads did you tackle this month? Don't forget to link up to your reviews and recaps below!
