October 2017 (+ October Flights of Fantasy Linky)

I say this without fail every single month but... where the hell has October gone? It was over in a heartbeat, or at least that's what it felt like to me. The season has shifted, the days have been busy and work has been hell. I'm grateful to have enjoyed and survived the past month, and to have made so many memories that I'll cherish forever!

WHAT I DID
Kicked off the month with a really fun day that started off with a trip to Books of Wonder to see Ryan Graudin, followed by the last of Ed Sheeran's three concerts at the Barclays. The week got even more exciting when NYCC came around! I hung out with friends, met some more incredible authors and snagged some really cool stuff. (Check out our 2017 NYCC vlog + haul if you like!) The week after, I had the chance to go back to Orlando with family and friends! Spent two days at Universal Studios Orlando, and then had a fun Disney date at Epcot on our last day. Other things I did this month? I had a fun weekend hiking at Bear Mountain and shopping at Woodbury Commons, got to see Niall Horan perform for the TODAY show, attended a Harry Potter themed tour of the Met, saw Tamora Pierce a second time and had a fun game night-slash-Halloween party at home.

WHAT I READ
Of the 9 books I read in October (of which 2 were rereads), here are my favorites:

WHAT WE POSTED

I managed to squeeze in a little bit of reading even though there was a lot on my plate! I read a total of five fantasy novels, three that were new to me (Batman: Nightwalker, Wildest Dreams and The Night Circus) and two rereads (Sandry's Book, Tris's Book). What fantasy novels did you read this month?
