Incarnate Series Read-a-thon

Incarnate Series Read-A-Thon banner

I'm very excited to finally reveal this event I've been planning with Bonnie for ages - the Incarnate Series Read-a-thon! I'm co-hosting with Bonnie, and pleased to announce that we'll have special participation from author Jodi Meadows and the Epic Reads team. The plan is to read Incarnate, followed by Asunder, Phoenix Overture and finally, Infinite when it releases on January 28, 2013 -- and to do it all together!

In case you live under a rock and haven't heard of the Incarnate series (also known as the Newsoul series) yet, I'll be happy to share a little bit about it. The series revolves mainly around a girl named Ana, who is the only new soul born after thousands of years of the same one million souls being reborn over and over and over again. Readers learn of her struggles as a new soul, including the friends, enemies and romance she experiences along the way.

We'd love for you to join us for the read-a-thon, whether you'll be re-reading the books (like we are) or reading them for the very first time (as we definitely suggest you should!). The reading schedule is loosely set, as you can see in the above banner that Bonnie made. We will also have some special author tidbits, Q&A posts for each book, Twitter chats and the chance to win some pretty cool prizes!

If you're interested in signing up, please add the link to your blog/Twitter account to the link below. We'll be sending out an email once the event officially kicks off in order to let you know what's happening, where it's happening and when! If you want more info or have any questions, you can find me (@alexalovesbooks) and Bonnie (@abackwardsstory) on Twitter. (Speaking of Twitter, our official hashtag is #IncarnateReadathon - feel free to use it!)

Today's announcement post is also very special, as we are pleased to be able to offer you the POSSIBILITY of getting to read Infinite early! While we can't guarantee that everyone who signs up will get an ARC or that there will be any at all, if you're interested in the possibility, all we ask is that you (a) sign up for the read-athon and (b) do something to express your love for the series, like fan art, a Pinterest board, poetry, an ode, a blog post and share the link with us via the comments of this post or on Twitter using the official hashtag.

Thanks for reading this post, and I sincerely hope you'll read with us. The Incarnate series is one of my all-time favorites, and Sam happens to be one of my favorite book boys. It's going to be so much fun to celebrate the books, and I just can't wait!

  2. I'm considering this! I didn't requested the ARC, because I haven't read the first two books yet (which I won on your blog ;)) So I'm definitely interested to participate in this read-a-thon, I haven't done one of these before :D I'll remember this and think about it, but I think I'm going to do it.
