TGIF (27): Most Valuable Book

TGIF at GReads is a feature by the fabulous Ginger, who asks us a fun question to answer every week. It's always a joy to be a part of this, and I think everyone certainly should try it out!

From your personal collection of books, which ones hold the most value to you - is it signed by the author? Or maybe it's your favorite story of all time? Share it with us!

It's no secret how much I love my book collection. My family knows how obsessed I am with maintaining the books in an orderly manner, and they also know of my claim to take everything with me when I get married. It's crazy how devoted I am to it! So this question is a little bit difficult to me because I value all of my books. But here are the ones that I really and truly value above all else:

Harry Potter 1-7

I have multiple copies of the series, but I truly treasure my complete set of hardbound editions. I would definitely cry if I lost one or found out one was damaged. Harry Potter is one of my all-time favorite series; it's the kind of book I would pass on to my children in the future.

American Girl

I have a collection of American Girl books and I LOVE them. They remind me so much of my childhood, and how I was completely fascinated by living vicariously through the girls. I would love to pass on the collection to my own daughter in the future.

Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy

This series is how I discovered and ended up falling completely in love with Maggie Stiefvater's writing. It's my favorite werewolf series, though I will be the first to admit that it's not completely perfect. I love the covers, I love the story and Shiver happens to be signed to me!

Precious Moments Bible

I have this Bible that was given to me as a gift when I was a young girl - it's pale pink and has Precious Moments illustrations in it. I treasure that Bible because I used to read it quite often, plus, it's quite beautiful. I wouldn't want to lost it.

  3. My old Bible is all marked up with highlights, underlines and notes I've written into the sides. I know where everything is in it. I feel so list when opening other Bibles
