TGIF (26): Cast Your Own Story

TGIF at GReads is a feature by the fabulous Ginger, who asks us a fun question to answer every week. It's always a joy to be a part of this, and I think everyone certainly should try it out!

If you could use existing characters from some of your favorite books to create a new story, who would be in it?

It's been SO long since I've properly participated in a TGIF feature, so I'm happy that on my first week back, we get this AWESOME question. Being a crazy bookworm means that I have so many favorite books, so it was very difficult for me to choose who to bring into an entirely new story. Without further ado, here are the characters I would feature:

Rowan from Wanderlove - There's just something about boys who love to travel and who seem quite worldly wise. I fell completely in love with his character while I was reading the book - and I certainly would like to travel with him along!

Four from Divergent & Insurgent - This boy is just equal parts gentle and tough, and that combination is killer. I just finished reading Insurgent fairly recently and, I gotta tell you, I love Four's character even more!

Lola from Lola & the Boy Next Door - If we're going to cast an entirely new story, I definitely want to bring Lola! She's funny, she's quirky and I absolutely think that she'd make a fun addition to the group on a whole. Plus she could make outfits for everyone!

Hermione from the Harry Potter series - She was the first character that I truly fell in love with, if only because I consider her an almost completely accurate reflection of myself. Her intelligence, her loyalty and her courage are all admirable indeed.

I think my story would feature a road trip, although they'll probably encounter a lot of crazy paranormal, magical and godly forces along the way! It'll be a really awesome adventure story though, and I love those so it's perfect!
