TGIF is a weekly feature on GReads! that features a different question every week, and lets bloggers review their posts.
This Friday's Question:
Spooktacular Reads: Which books do you consider festive Halloween reads? Which stories have chilled you to the bone?
Honestly, off the top of my head, I'd consider these books/stories creepy, festive Halloween reads:
The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson (See my review!)
Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl
The Tell-Tale Heart//The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allen Poe
What are your suggestions for a festive/scary Halloween read?

She was extremely detailed when it came to the stuff about England and Jack the Ripper, and I loved that. It was a scary book, but I loved it!

ReplyDeleteOh, I didn't know Beautiful Creatures was scary. Maybe I should rethink reading it.
ReplyDeleteBut I so want to read The Name of the Star!
I don't know why but Beautiful Creatures completely creeped me out when I read it. It might have had to do with the fact that I read it late on a stormy night...
DeleteI'm glad to see The Name of the Star on here! I just borrowed it from the library and I'm excited that I'll have something a little creepy to read in these next coming days. :D
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
