Flights of Fantasy 2020

I’m so excited to announce that Flights of Fantasy is making a comeback! Rachel from Hello, Chelly and I hosted this annual fantasy reading challenge from 2015-2017 but decided to take a break in 2018. We toyed with the idea of bringing Flights of Fantasy back in 2020, and I’m so glad we decided to do it. I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve also invited one of our dear friends – Kristin from Super Space Chick – to be our co-host!

Now, if you’re familiar with Flights of Fantasy, you’ll know that we like to keep things simple. The main objective is to read x number of fantasy books – and you can decide whether that means 1 book or 100 books (and I’ll be super impressed if it’s the latter). Once you’ve set your goal, you're good to go!

The three of us, however, have a few additional things we’d like to accomplish for Flights of Fantasy. We love getting to read things together so we can discuss them when we get together, so we wanted to incorporate that into our challenge. We also wanted to be sure and tackle those TBR piles (well, mine and Kristin’s, in any case, since Rachel is the unicorn who has a very manageable TBR stack) too!

We’re excited to be tackling this challenge together this year! (In fact, we’re starting this week since we’re picking up Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl to read along with our friend DJ.) I hope you’ll consider joining us in reading more fantasy in 2020!
