Table for Two #23: Matcha N' More

Rachel of Hello, Chelly and I have teamed up to bring you a collaboration that involves two of my favorite things: New York City & food. Welcome to Table for Two, where we will be highlighting restaurants and dessert spots in New York City. Today, I'll be sharing my thoughts on Matcha N' More, while Rachel features our dinner at Ed's Lobster Bar.

I'll admit that I haven't always been a matcha fan. But that somehow has changed over the past few years, and now I absolutely love it. So, unsurprisingly, when I first heard of Matcha N' More, I knew it was a place I'd have to visit! Luckily, Rachel likes matcha as much as I do, so it was a perfect fit for this month's Table for Two.

Matcha N' More has the loveliest aesthetic! The color scheme revolves mainly around green, black and white (which is so perfect), and the artwork on the wall is all leaves and florals (as created by @surfaceofbeauty). I loved all the cute matcha puns that were a part of the decor in there as well.

Their menu consists of all things matcha, of course, and their matcha is actually imported from Uji, Japan. Plus, their other ingredients are locally sourced and organic. I had a white chocolate matcha latte and a matcha cream puff, while Rachel had a lavender rose matcha latte and their vanilla/matcha soft serve in a cup. All of the stuff we had was delicious, and there's still so much more I'd like to try.

If you're a fan of matcha in general, you won't want to miss checking out Matcha N' More if you ever visit New York! You can find Matcha N' More at 177 Hester Street, New York, NY 10013.

  1. I haven't always been a matcha fan either but it's a big thing now, I think because of the many desserts? I've found I only enjoy it when sweetened. That cream puff looks SO GOOD, this place is going on my list of places to visit whenever I'm in NYC next!
