Bard on the Blogs

Here’s a fun fact that you might not know about me – I love William Shakespeare. I’ve been fascinated with him since I was pretty young (maybe 10 or 11) and I first discovered Romeo & Juliet! I haven’t often talked about my love for Shakespeare on the blog, but that’s all about to change.

So, it is with great excitement that I announce my latest blog collaboration! Together with the wonderful Alyssa of Books Take You Places, I bring you Bard on the Blogs, an event celebrating William Shakespeare that will be held from April 23-27! She and I will be sharing some Shakespeare-centered posts during the week, which I’m really excited about. And we want YOU to be a part of it!

If you want to show off your Shakespeare appreciation, we’d love it if you signed up to do a guest post – whether it’s a review, a discussion, your favorite Shakespeare quotes or films. All you need to do is fill out the Google form below, and we’ll email you at the beginning of April. Thanks in advance for signing up to be a part of Bard on the Blogs, and we hope you’re as excited as we are to celebrate Shakespeare.

  1. I'm pretty pumped about this. I discovered Shakespeare when I was a youngster too, and Romeo and Juliet was my gateway!

    1. Yay! I'm glad we had the same gateway Shakespeare work. I actually want to reread his stuff, because it's been a long time, and I want to see if my favorites have changed :)

  3. hi alexa! I think this is a great idea! Shakespeare is truly the canon of English lit and he's smart and hilarious. I'm an English teacher & not surprisingly, I do love lots of his works. Was thinking of including this is part of my a to z challenge in april which I did a post on this morning. I have a few topics but not sure exactly which ones I will do. Can we still sign up if we're not sure what topics or exactly what types of posts we'll be doing?
