'Tis The Season: The Ghosts of Christmas Past

One of the best things about the holiday season is the fact that I always celebrate it surrounded by my big, amazing family. All the traditions - a big dinner party on Christmas Eve, followed by mass and then opening our gifts, and then Christmas Day brunch - only matter because of who I get to spend it with. While I do see my family on other occasions, nothing seems more special or magical than Christmas to me!

In the spirit of the season, I thought I'd dig up some old photos and share with you my "ghosts of Christmases gone by". It gave me a chance to reminisce, as well as got me excited for my holidays this year -- which are set to be extra special (for reasons I won't be divulging just yet!).

Christmas 2003: Manila, my grandmother's house with my sisters + cousin

Christmas 2009: Christmas in Manila (photo in our condo lobby)
Christmas 2010
Christmas 2010: New Jersey, with the Ornillos

Christmas 2010: with my best friends Jaymee & Pam
Christmas 2011
Christmas 2011: Christmas in Ohio, with the Suntays
Christmas 2012
Christmas 2012: Home with friends
I'm not quite sure where the holidays will take me this year, but I do know that it's going to be super special. (And there will be photos to prove it!) Hope you enjoyed this little trip down memory lane with me -- and if you feel like sharing some holiday photos of your own, well, you can definitely tweet them to me or share links in the comments!

    1. What I'm wearing is ALWAYS a source of entertainment! Especially during the years that my mom insisted we all color-coordinate ;)

  3. Aww, I love the holidays because it's the only time my whole family can actually get together. This year I'll be spending Christmas in Dominican Republic with my dad's side of the family so I'm really excited for that. I hope you have a great Christmas this year too! P.S. Loved seeing the different outfits throughout the year :)

  4. I love the holidays, they're such a joy! Getting the whole family back together and exchanging gifts and eating great food...it's all such a good time. And I feel like the only time it's ever truly amazing is on Christmas Eve, when the excitement of Christmas is in the air. Such a blast.
