Table for Two #26: Seamore's

Rachel of Hello, Chelly and I have teamed up to bring you a collaboration that involves two of my favorite things: New York City and food. Welcome to Table for Two, where the two of us will be highlighting restaurants and dessert spots in New York City. Today, I'll be sharing my thoughts on Seamore's, while Rachel features Ample Hills Creamery.

Where | Seamore's, 161 8th Ave. (at 18th St.)
Cuisine | Seafood
Price | $$ moderate
What We Ordered | 1/2 dozen oysters, shrimp mac and cheese, the "reel deal", crispy fish tacos
What We Thought | I'd actually been to Seamore's a few times, but always for brunch and never for dinner. It was fun to experience what it's like to visit them in the evening, as the menu is definitely different, though it still boasts the delicious seafood choices that they are known for. I enjoyed visiting a new-to-me branch as well! It has a nice ambiance for a meal with a friend, though it was a little too dimly lit for my personal tastes. The food was really good, especially if you happen to be craving seafood the way I was when we went to visit.
Rating | 🥂🥂🥂 Really good
